'Blossom' from my series 'British Countryside Flowers'.
It's now for sale on my Etsy shop (link on my bio)!

Blossom took on a life of its own whilst I was painting it. Originally, it was going to be a field of wildflowers from a photograph that I took at Hampton Court. However, once it started to take shape, it began to look more and more like a tree full of blossoms rather than a field of flowers. So, with a little more work, that's what it ended up becoming! It reminds me of the apple trees at my family home when they would be full of leaves and beautiful flowers in the late spring!

One of my favourite places to visit down south and also my very first time painting on watercolour board instead of paper!
